Sewer utility rates will increase 13.3 percent and stormwater fees will rise from $64 to $80 per residential unit to fund capital projects and meet state environmental requirements for Falls Lake and Jordan Lake.
The county will increase Durham Public Schools funding by $13.2 million to $211 million total support and invest $1.4 million in an eviction diversion program providing legal representation and rental assistance to low-income residents.
