7. Contract Amendment #1 for Durham Workforce Development Board, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act - NCWorks Career Center Operations with Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc.

To authorize the City Manager to execute a contract amendment with Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc. to implement the WIOA NCWorks Career Center Operations for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, in the amount of $100,000 for a total, not to exceed contract amount of $200,000.

To authorize the City Manager to execute a contract amendment with Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc. to implement the WIOA Adult & Dislocated Worker Program for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30,2024 in the amount of $550,000 for a total, not to exceed contract of $989,918.

To authorize the City Manager to execute Contract for Water Quality Web Portal Repair and Maintenance for the Stormwater Quality Program, with Geotech Computer Systems, Inc. in the amount of $64,500;

To establish a contingency fund in the amount of $11,500; and

To authorize the City Manager to negotiate contract extensions and change orders for Contract for Water Quality Web Portal Repair and Maintenance for the Stormwater Quality Program provided that the total contract length does not exceed 3 years and the total contract cost does not exceed $76,000.
