The city will consider simplifying zoning and permit requirements to make it easier and cheaper to build affordable housing in Durham.

Duke University will receive up to $1 million in federal pandemic relief funding to research how COVID-19 financially impacted Durham's small businesses.

Additional funding of nearly $2.4 million will be allocated to expand the Alston Avenue sidewalk project.

The city will increase funding to over $10.7 million for bike lanes and sidewalks on Morreene Road.

Turner & Townsend will receive an additional $221,000 to manage the water facility expansion project.
