The Durham Bulls open their 2026 home season Tuesday night against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. First pitch is set for 6:45 p.m., and tickets start at $13.
The opener starts a five-game homestand in Downtown Durham that runs through Sunday. Team officials said the week will include new food, new merchandise, and a full run of themed promotions at the ballpark, according to the team's opening week schedule.
- Tuesday's opener will feature Champ the Bat Dog, the younger brother of the late Ripken the Bat Dog, who became a fan favorite at DBAP.
- Thursday's 6:45 p.m. game includes Bark in the Park and Dollar Hot Dog Night. Human tickets for the dog-friendly outfield and lawn areas are $10.75, and dog tickets are $5.50.
- Friday brings the Bulls' first Copa night of the season and postgame fireworks.
- Saturday is Bull Durham Night, tying the homestand to the 1988 film that helped make the downtown ballpark part of Durham's national baseball identity.
- Sunday's 5:05 p.m. game includes a pregame Easter egg hunt on the field and postgame kids base running, weather permitting.
The homestand keeps the Bulls at DBAP through Sunday, with games scheduled every day from Tuesday through Saturday at 6:45 p.m. before the earlier Sunday start.
